About the program
The Brimbank-Melton Integrated Family Services Program helps parents and carers to increase their parenting choices and the outcomes in their family life.
Our family services support families to manage a range of parenting problems that may be affecting their child’s development. Some of these issues can include:
- parenting strategies and connections with your child
- family conflict and/or breakdown
- physical or mental illness
- substance abuse
- disability
- social or economic disadvantage isolation and lack of connection to your local community
What's included
As part of the program, Good Shepherd offers parent and family counselling, group work and individual support.
This program is by referral only. We welcome families to contact Brimbank-Melton ChildFIRST, where a worker will talk with you to determine the next steps and arrange a referral.
