Financial counselling programs in VIC

Our financial counselling program in the Bayside and Brimbank Melton area assists people who are experiencing financial hardship.

Our financial counsellors are qualified professionals who can provide information, advice, advocacy and referral to women, children and their families who are experiencing financial difficulty. We aim to empower people and build resilience to improve a person’s financial situation and future financial well-being.

The financial counsellors deal with problems related to debt and debt enforcement, advocacy with banks and other lenders, seek reparation around unfair lending practices, can assist with lodging complaints to dispute resolution services, provided information about consumer rights, and provided advice and support relating to Bankruptcy.

We work in partnership with IPC Health in St Albans and Port Phillip Community Group in St Kilda
