No Interest Loans for Vehicles - New Applications Paused
NILs for Vehicles is a pilot program, initially offered through a limited network of community providers. At the moment, we’re experiencing higher than expected demand and so we’re not taking new applications right now. We understand this will be disappointing to the many people for whom a No Interest Loan is their best option for purchasing a vehicle.
We’re currently clearing a backlog of existing enquiries, applications and loan disbursements, with delays up to six weeks. In order to maintain a positive experience for current applicants, we’re temporarily ‘pressing pause’ on any new applications.
We’re working as hard as we can to clear the backlog, and we’ll accept new applications as soon as we can. Please check back from time to time to see when applications are open again.
Our NILs for Essentials program is open and accepting applications – so if you have an unplanned expense such as a washing machine breaking down, needing a new phone or laptop, car rego or repairs, education or medical expenses, or bond or rent-in-advance (and much more!), please click HERE to find out more.
