In Australia, around 3.1 million people (16.9% of adults) lack access to safe, appropriate and affordable financial products and services such as bank accounts, credit and insurance [1].The financial inclusion continuum provides Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand with the framework to consider and guide an understanding of our clients and the kinds of support they might need to become financially included. The ‘Pathways to Resilience’ research report focuses on the impact that financial conversations – a core component of our NILS Program offered by Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand and network partners – has on building financial capability for our clients.
