Closure of the StepUP Program
The StepUP program is no longer available.
If you are an existing StepUP client and require assistance with your loan, you will continue to be supported by the NAB and can call them directly on 1800 701 599 with any queries.
Good Shepherd and NAB created StepUP in 2004 to provide fair and affordable small loans to purchase a car for people living on low incomes. Since then the program has worked with governments and community organisations to deliver over 23,000 loans. This incredible impact would not have been possible without the hard work and advocacy of the StepUP workers and the organisations that have been delivering the program in communities across Australia.
NAB and Good Shepherd want to thank each of these workers and organisations for their commitment to StepUP delivery and the impact that they have had on the lives of those living on low incomes.
Good Shepherd and NAB are currently working on an initiative to replace StepUP. More information about this initiative will be communicated here in the not too distant future.
