How our team is supporting East Gippsland and Towong residents:
Christina – Good Money Client, Bairnsdale
“I first met Christina at St Vincent’s in Bairnsdale where we discussed her needs and submitted a NILs application for her. She had some savings to contribute and I suggested she obtain a couple of quotes for the job for comparison. Christina was able to lodge her NILs application and… the NILs loan will allow Christina to replace her flooring, offering repayment options that she can manage while staying on track with her budget”.
Christine – Good Money Client, Morwell
Christine lives locally in a caravan park and required a NILs loan her vehicle registration as well as a gas bottle for her cabin. Her NILs application was lodged with Good Shepherd by phone. When initially asked for documentation she panicked but our financial capability worker, Terri, talked her through the entire process. Terri made it easy for Christine to text the required information to her and with Christine unable to use internet banking, Terri assisted her with getting a bank statement emailed directly to the Good Shepherd Good Money Store in Morwell. Christine’s loan has been approved and Christine is gradually paying it back.
