Our research agenda centres on identifying unmet needs and developing more effective interventions in the areas of financial security, safety and resilience, and educational pathways. We seek research collaborations and cross-sector partnerships and adopt the research methodology best suited to each inquiry.
Policy & Research
Our Women's Research, Advocacy and Policy (WRAP) Centre drives innovation for programs within our organisation and shares knowledge in the wider community to advocate for systemic change. Our research, policy analysis, public advocacy and evaluations are used to design policies and practice models that promote participation for all in the fullness of life.
We seek to address the underlying structural causes of injustice and suffering through influencing public policy. We make policy submissions in the areas of human rights, women’s equality, financial security, educational and vocational access, and other issues that impact significantly on people's lives.
Our team includes specialists in policy analysis, change interventions, research methodologies, program logics, outcome measurement and evaluation. They also bring expertise in our specialist areas of financial security, safety and resilience, and educational pathways.
The Women’s Policy Action Tank aims to influence policy debate, development and action.
The Power to Persuade partnership includes an annual symposium, blog and Twitter account.
Read opinion pieces on policy, gender, civil society and the common good, and articles on methodologies for research and outcome measurement.
