A key strategic role whose purpose is to uplift and embed a culture of practice excellence in our client-centred organisation. You will work with our skilled and dedicated leaders and front-line staff to strengthen client practice across our suite of services and programs (family violence, family and youth services, financial hardship and inclusion).

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert clinical practice leadership and evidence informed interventions
  • Work in collaboration with Client Services teams in the management of complex cases, including case consultancy and review
  • Prepare and present reports, briefings and submissions
  • Build the organisation’s capability through the delivery of clinical therapeutic training and development

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant post graduate qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or related and post graduate qualifications/training in child, adolescent and family clinical practice, family work and systemic thinking
  • Evidence of high-level consultation, communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others, negotiate and exercise influence in a diversity of contexts.
  • Proven ability to participate collaboratively and constructively in both leadership and participant roles within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of and experience of national social policy and quality frameworks and issues at all levels of government, particularly community services, including government practices and procedures
