The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Program Marketing Manager to deliver on GSANZ’s marketing and engagement support for assigned programs and for the Marketing and Communications Team overall.

Working as a part of the key interface between the Marketing and Communications Team and key internal stakeholders (Program Managers and teams) on assigned programs, the role will have responsibility to support stakeholders by delivering a wide array of marketing coordination activities. This role also supports the delivery of external communications including some reactive and proactive media and social media.

The role will further assist the Program Marketing Manager with key work to deliver marketing collateral and communication executions across online and offline channels, to enable GSANZ to deliver on program and advocacy commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Managers and other key internal stakeholders with the delivery of program marketing objectives, plans and activities
  • Support the Head of Media, Marketing and Communications to brief Brand and External Communications Manager, Program Managers and Senior Graphic Designer on delivery of all elements of the approved marketing program plans
  • Coordinate the delivery of integrated campaign and marketing assets, including liaising with external agencies where required
  • Assist with coordinating GSANZ internal and external conferences, sector trade shows, exhibitions, and events, including sourcing merchandise and delivering marketing collateral.
  • Assist with posting assets on social media platforms and uploading to networking portals
  • Assist with execution of communications plans including EDM campaigns

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in marketing, communications, digital and social media, or a related discipline
  • 1-2 years’ experience in project management / admin support
  • 1-2 years’ experience supporting the delivery of marketing collateral
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office in particular, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • A satisfactory National Police Check
  • A satisfactory International Police Check (if you have resided outside of Australia within the last 5 years)
  • A current Employee Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) or state equivalent
