Be part of a newly created team tasked with leading the Reporting & Analytics function across the organisation.  This position will:

  • Provide reporting & technical expertise to uplift our capability in data analytics.
  • Ensure we can comply with our reporting commitments for our programs.
    • Internal reporting to inform our Operations & Service Delivery Teams
    • External reporting to funders and partners
  • Take an enterprise view of our current technical & reporting needs and capability; use that assessment to inform our future state aspirations & assist in building an information roadmap.
  • End-to-end ownership for developing, deploying & supporting data assets

Responsibilities

  • Establish and stabilize reporting process for program / funder reporting especially DSS Data Exchange (DEX) Partnership Framework for NILS (No Interest loans).
  • Analyse, profile & create systematic representation of data for management and operations teams’ understanding.
  • Data profiling to understand existing data sets & models.
  • Consolidation of multiple disparate data sources for enterprise data warehousing
  • Elicit, document, verify, validate, and prioritise solution requirements, both functional and non-functional.
  • Interpret the functional, reporting & analytical aspects of data.
  • Investigate and analyse solution options & provide recommendations.
  • Document the data mapping, conversion & business rules for data migration & reporting.
  • Collaborate, coach and lead others in remote and collocated environments (internal and external stakeholders).
  • Data Cleansing – develop solution & cleanse source data in partnership with business units.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this position, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at all levels of the organisation.  You will also have:

  • Degree qualification in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business, Finance or IT
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in data projects, designing and delivering data warehouse & BI solutions
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in writing SQL codes & creating APIs.
  • Proficient in ETL/ELT data preparation; used Azure Data Factory or other CI/CD (continuous integration & deployment tools)
  • Advanced experience with SQL Server & Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, Power BI etc)
  • Strong knowledge & experience in data base, relational data base design, data modelling
