All some women want for Christmas is a happy new year. Now is your chance to help them create a fresh start.
As 2022 comes to a close, we all look to the new year for fresh hope and new beginnings. But for some, a new beginning can feel impossible and hope can seem in very short supply.
This Christmas, you can change that. Your donation can help give vulnerable women and girls a fresh start and hope for 2023.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.
We’ve had a busy year, supporting more than 75,000 women, girls and their families through our programs – the largest number in our history.
Unfortunately, we’ve seen firsthand how the current cost of living pressures and ongoing impacts of COVID-19 are still leaving many worse off. We’re also seeing a steady rise in the number of people who are seeking our support for the first time.
That’s why your help is vital. Your donation this Christmas will help provide holistic and life-changing services for vulnerable women and girls.
Because they deserve the opportunities that a new year can bring. They deserve to feel safe, well, strong and connected. They deserve a happy new year.
“I donate to Good Shepherd to help them continue to support women who might end up on the street in their older age through circumstances not of their own making. I know there’s a crisis brewing for women aged as young as 55 who find themselves unable to pay their mortgage and rent, unable to secure decent work and face an incredibly bleak future as a result.”
Michelle, 58 years
“Why do I give to Good Shepherd? Because the women and girls you help were my mother and me. I was one of eight children. My father upped and left. If it were not for the generosity of people like you, we would have starved, or worse. I can’t give much but want that feeling that I am doing just the smallest thing that might help people who need it.”
Lena, 83 years
